Terms

Terms of service

In plain language. Last updated July 2026.

1. Who we are

Aangan is a product of INUK Network Private Limited (“we”, “us”), registered office: Village Kunja, PO Mirtola, Dist Almora, Uttarakhand 263623, India. By using Aangan, you agree to these terms.

2. What Aangan does

We build and maintain your online presence — a story-told website, discovery (SEO), and booking and payment tools — for your homestay. Some features connect to other INUK services and trusted third parties (for example, payment providers and Google).

3. Your content is yours

The photos, words and story you give us remain yours. You allow us to use them to build and run your Aangan and to feature you across the INUK network. You confirm you have the right to share what you give us.

4. What you pay

You pay a one-time build fee (a small percentage of your build cost) and, if you choose, a monthly plan for hosting, ranking and content. We never take a commission on your bookings. Every fee is shown to you before you commit; some add-ons (such as custom messaging) are charged on actuals.

5. Bookings & payments

Payments from your guests settle to your own bank account through our payment partners, who charge their own standard fee. You are responsible for honouring the bookings you accept; refunds and cancellations follow the policy you set.

6. Your dagadi

Your homestay is looked after by a local dagadi — your first point of contact — with INUK behind them. We support you in good faith and in your language, but a dagadi is a helper, not your legal agent.

7. Cancelling

You can cancel your plan at any time, with no lock-in. Your site stays live for the period you have already paid for.

8. Fair use & liability

Please use Aangan lawfully and honestly. We work hard to keep the service running, but we provide it “as is” and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits the rights you have by law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the courts of Almora, Uttarakhand.

10. Changes

We may update these terms as Aangan grows, and will tell you about important changes. Continuing to use Aangan means you accept the updated terms.
