Team playbook · internal

The Aangan playbook.

Read this before you meet a customer — the building metaphor, every word, every feature, payments, pricing, and how to pitch.

7 · How to pitch

The doorstep flow.

  1. Open with the change, not the product. “You built something beautiful — but online, nobody can see it.”
  2. Land the second search. “Before anyone books you, they look you up. What do they find right now?”
  3. Show Kunja on your phone. “This is a real homestay in the hills. This is what yours becomes.”
  4. Frame the price as decor. “It’s a small % of what you built — less than your garden cost.”
  5. Offer the free starter site. “Let me put your homestay online right now, so you can see it.”

Handling objections

"I already use MakeMyTrip."

Great — keep it. But when a traveller finds you there, the first thing they do is Google you to check you’re real. Right now they find nothing. Aangan is what wins that second look — and those bookings are commission-free and yours.

"It’s expensive."

It’s 1–5% of what you already spent building this place — less than you spent on the garden. And win just 3 extra direct nights a month and it pays for itself in a year. The real cost is staying invisible.

"I’m not good with computers."

You don’t need to be. We do everything — your photos, your story, the whole site. You run it from your phone, in Hindi, and we’re a call away.

"My homestay is too small / simple."

Perfect. Aangan makes a proud 3-room homestay look as good as a big hotel. It’s not about size — it’s about being seen for what you truly are.

"Let me think about it."

Of course. Can I set up your free starter site now, so you can see your own homestay online before you decide? It takes minutes and costs nothing.
