The Aangan playbook.

Read this before you meet a customer — the building metaphor, every word, every feature, payments, pricing, and how to pitch.

4 · Payments, clearly

The part every owner asks about.

How the money flows

The guest taps a payment link on their phone (UPI, card or netbanking) → the money moves through a secure gateway → it settles into the owner’s own bank account the next working day. No POS machine, no separate app, and it never sits with us.

When does the money reach the owner?

Straight to their own bank account, the next working day. It never sits with us.

Do we take a cut of their bookings?

Never. No commission, ever. There is only a small, flat, transparent fee per online transaction — nothing like the 15–25% OTAs take.

Do they need a card machine (POS)?

No. The guest just taps a payment link on their phone (UPI/cards/netbanking).

What is the "advance"?

Money collected at the time of booking — a token or the full amount. It removes no-shows and last-minute cancellations.

What if a guest cancels?

Refunds and cancellations follow the owner’s own policy, handled cleanly.

Is it safe?

Yes — we use reputable, secure payment partners, and money settles to the owner’s own bank.
